Security and trust

Your clients’ artwork and decisions deserve thoughtful protection.

Proof Approve uses practical safeguards appropriate for a focused approval platform serving solo creators and small shops.

🔗

Private, unguessable links

Each proof is assigned a long random link. The link can be revoked by the subscriber when access should end.

📁

Protected file delivery

Uploaded files are served through PHP only after the proof link or logged-in account is validated.

🔐

Hashed passwords

Subscriber passwords are stored using PHP’s secure password hashing functions rather than as readable text.

🧾

Audit records

Important actions are logged with timestamps and technical context to support a reliable history.

🛑

CSRF protection

Authenticated forms use verification tokens to reduce unauthorized form submissions.

🌐

HTTPS required

The production site should run exclusively over HTTPS so information is encrypted while traveling between browser and server.

Responsible access

Proof links are private, not public listings.

Proofs are not intended for search engines or public browsing. A client needs the specific randomized link sent by the subscriber.

Revoke access

Disable a client link from the proof record when necessary.

Tenant separation

Logged-in users may access only records associated with their business account.

Plan-based retention

Retention policies can be applied according to the subscriber’s plan.

Security is an ongoing responsibility

Proof Approve is maintained by Budder Technology LLC. Hosting, dependencies, email delivery, and application behavior should be reviewed as the service grows.

A digital record that supports your process

Proof Approve records the response submitted through its review page, including the typed name, decision, notes, and timestamps. These records can help demonstrate what was presented and how the client responded.

Proof Approve does not guarantee that every typed signature will satisfy every legal requirement in every jurisdiction or transaction. Businesses should use terms, contracts, and legal advice appropriate to their work.
